SHARP |
On May 10th, 2005, we were awarded SHARP Certification from the Occupational Safety and Heath Administration (OSHA) through the U.S. Department of Labor for 2005. SHARP, which stands for Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program, is a certification which recognizes companies for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive Safety and Health program which meets or exceeds all of the federally mandated OSHA requirements.
OSHA stated that out of 200,000 operating workplaces in Pennsylvania, only 23 have achieved SHARP certification status. The certification is good for one year followed by two-year renewal periods after undergoing surveillance audits similar to the certification audits.

Many companies require their suppliers to become registered to the ISO standards. A Company's compliance to ISO generally results in a sound quality management system being in place. Typical benefits associated with ISO certification include reduced customer complaints, increased demand, less quality defects and overall higher customer satisfaction. We received the ISO 9001:2000 certification which is the most comprehensive and stringent certification that is currently awarded to a company. Our certification is good through November
27, 2011 subject to customary surveillance audits by our registrar.
